Coaching Case Study One: Ms. K. landing that job

…She gave priority to herself which is an important byproduct and result of any therapeutic or coaching process.

This coaching case study involves an online client that we were doing coaching sessions via an online technological platform. As in all coaching, consulting and psychotherapeutic cases in the present website, no real names or events will be given in order to protect the identity of the clients.

I was approached by K. in order to help her land a job. She was positive that her lack of self-confidence was costing her not landing a job even though she was getting a lot of interviews due to her skills, studies and experience. In the first session, we agreed to work for 10 sessions, something I regularly do with my coaching clients, and see how we want to proceed.

In the 9th coaching session, she landed a job she wanted for a prestigious company and she was really thrilled about that. I was happy for her and for the result she was able to achieve. She started to believe in herself more. We discussed how she wanted to proceed. She felt she was getting a lot from the coaching sessions and we continued our coaching sessions for four years.

The client has achieved tremendous changes in all these years. She was able to face her inner critic and realise that she was sabotaging herself. She started voicing her own opinion without fear of how others will respond. She gave priority to herself which is an important byproduct and result of any therapeutic or coaching process.
